A few years ago I was upcycling furniture for my own home and received a lot of comments about how good it looked in the 'after' state, unlike the bad rap that upcycled furniture had typically been getting back then. I wanted to show people that upcycled furniture can be high quality, something you want in your home, and benefit the environment by prolonging the life of existing well made pieces from the past.
Established in 2018, Condover Furniture created and sold upcycled furniture out of a home garage and in 2019 opened a retail shop in the village of Condover, Shropshire. I exhibited at Grand Designs Live at the NEC, at 100% Design at Olympia in London and at the Shrewsbury Flower Show among other shows.
In 2023 post Covid-19, the business moved to online and I rented a workshop nearby to allow me to work full time creating. People would bring me their furniture and commission me to improve it.
Furniture and homewares can now be viewed, purchased and picked up from Condover by appointment, but most is shipped nationwide by furniture courier. I just need your postcode to obtain a shipping quote from here to there and it will usually be with you within 5-7 days.
Condover Furniture established 2018, prior to the 2023 creation of Rock the Home, a more versatile name. Condover Furniture is now part of Rock the Home.

Condover Furniture moved from selling furniture created at home out of a garage to selling out of a retail shop in the village of Condover in October 2019. Post Covid-19, in 2023, Condover Furniture subsequently moved to online with pick up from its Condover location and view and purchase by appointment, since the majority of sales were taking place online and being shipped by courier to London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Sussex & beyond.
